Temi di ricerca
I achieved my Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2012 and I am currently Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, University of Turin. I focus my research on different topics of cognitive neuroscience, working with healthy subjects and brain damaged patients. In particular, I am interested in the neurocognitive mechanisms underpinning the phenomenology of willed actions and bodily awareness. I am the coordinator of the MANIBUS Lab (Movement ANd body In Behavioral and physiological neUroScience) and I am currently working on my two research projects:
1) "The Active Body in the Conscious Brain: physiological basis of motor and corporeal awareness", funding by SIR-MIUR grant 2015 (RBSI146V1D).
2) "The body in human and monkey brain", funded by San Paolo Foundation (Excellent Young PI) Grant 2016 (CSTO165140)
